You’re probably thinking one of two things:
1) Daylight savings already happened, Caitlin
or
2) Daylight savings is definitely not a holiday.
To which I say, true and but it totally should be!
Daylight savings just may be my favorite day of the year – I’ve had it on the calendar for months and frankly, my friends, it is my jam. There’s something uniquely good about this added slice of light at the end of the day. I’m sitting on the top step in my backyard as I type this with a sky full of light and life above my head. It feels like such a gift.
It also feels like the earth is suddenly breathing deeper and freer and it reminds me once again that no matter the dark, difficult, tenuous, treacherous or laborious season we may be in, something new is on the way, something full of life and light.
Life and light are on the way
