This week, I’m taking you back to Chicago to recap the trip I took last month. It was my first trip to the city and first time to visit my college roommate, Ali, at home. It was a few days of pulling back from normal life, of quiet, slow mornings, of crisp, autumn beauty, of savory talks about the Lord and life and how the two go together, of creaky, old stairs and extra blankets at bedtime, of Baylor get-togethers, looks to the future and a chance to hear my favorite writer in person.
Ready? Let’s go.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
