I graduated from AUP. It was a humid day in the city, full of picture taking and translating and a five-course, three hour lunch that my brother squirmed all the way through. It was a great day, all of us being together, and in a context so foreign and new.
Today, I’m headed to Waco to spend time with that same family, in another foreign and altogether new context – the arrival of our newest addition, my nephew.
I don’t know if any one of us could have said, sitting in that grand theater a year ago today, that this is where we would all be in just 366 days, but what a gift it is. It’s a little startling how unforseen God’s plans can be over the course of a year, but humbling and moving as well. Great is He and great is His love for us.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
