The shortest verse of the Bible – do you know it?
Jesus wept. John 11: 35
The scene is this: a dear friend of Jesus, Lazarus, has died. Lazarus’ sisters, Mary and Martha, had sent word to Jesus several days before to let Him know what was happening. Finally arriving in their town four days later, Jesus comforts two beloved friends who are mourning the loss of their brother.
And He wept.
He wept for the loss of a friend.
He wept for the power of death over us.
He wept for our brokenness that causes our death.
Just weeks or maybe days from his own death, in that moment the Creator wept for His creation and how we walked away from His perfect plan for us.
He wept because He had created us to live, not die. He wept because death was never meant to be part of the story.
On the cross, that would be finished. Friday is coming, my friends. Better yet, Sunday is coming, but before we reach them, let’s remember how our Jesus wept for us. For our situation.
But He didn’t stop there – just as He called Lazarus to come forth out of death, He calls each of us: first, to believe in Him and second, to come out.
Come out of that weak body.
Come out of that broken world.
Come, once and for all, out of those chains.
Come out of darkness and into light.
Come out death and into life.
I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this? -Jesus Christ / John 11:25-26

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
