I knew it would happen eventually. My New York friend, the very one I weathered Superstorm Sandy with, has a habit of catching eponymous, octogenarian street-style photographer Bill Cunningham at one of his favorite morning haunts, the corner of 57th and 5th, each day on her way to work; she’s even made a side project out of it. So, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I opened the Sunday Style section of the NY Times to find her photo amongst his “On The Street” trend collage.
And yet, even though I knew it would happen at some time, that didn’t stop me from screaming when I spotted her this morning looking out at me from Page 4. And make it a bonus that it was for one of my favorite trends of the season – touches of leather. A favorite friend and a favorite trend: that, is a must read.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
