I found myself in the middle of my past this weekend…and laughing a lot.

 

On the cusp of something new, I’m humbled by God’s goodness in my life. And as I looked around Waco, TX this weekend, my mind overflowed with memories of things that took place on this campus, in this town, and in my life. And two years after much heartache from leaving a place and life I loved deeply, it’s His faithfulness I see as new phases of life arise in the lives of friends, family and myself and call out deeper parts of our hearts and personalities.

The longer I follow Jesus, the deeper and richer life seems to get – and I don’t think that’s a coincidence. Humbled by His goodness, grateful for His love.

I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:13-14
