Before anything else, I want to show you what I saw every morning when I first opened the door of our tiny Santorini cave house.
Blue of a hundred gradients, each so rich they’re royal. The soft heat of a sun that feels more potent here, in the Aegean Sea. I thought every morning what it must be like to claim this as the backdrop of your life. I could have sat there, on the carved-in bench and watch the scene all day. There certainly are many worse things than spending a lifetime – or a few days – on Santorini. I’m so thankful I now know this to be true.
