Fact: Elephants are my favorite animal. Seriously, since I was about four…I even had a tee shirt (then, not now).
Fact: Before I die, I want to ride an elephant.
Fact: I used to have a painting by Ruby, the Elephant.
Fact: Babar the Elephant was French.
Fact: As a little girl, I loved Babar.
(Possible) Fact: Babar is the root of my fracophile-ness.

Due to all of the above, you can now understand why I love the windows of Tartine et Chocolat, a child’s clothing boutique, down the street from my apartment. Every day as I pass it on my way to school, I can’t help but smile at window after window of plush stuffed elephants. They just make me happy.
